Time-building and aircraft checkouts

Aircraft may be rented for time-building and personal use once you have completed a check-out in the aircraft with an instructor.

  • Flight Test Prep Academy requires all students and renters to obtain Aircraft Renter Insurance 

  • Minimum requirements: $250,000 Bodily Injury/Property Damage and $10,000 Liability 

  • Renters are responsible to pay for any deductibles, which may be as high as $10,000.

  • Maximum fuel reimbursement rate $6 per gallon
